Who is Luke
Luke Schaefer is 26 years old and lives in the greater Seattle area. He graduated from Northwest University in 2023 with a BA in Video Production and an emphasis in Live Video. He first fell in love with film and videography when he was at the age of 12. He was inspired by the 2011 movie Super 8 directed by JJ Abrams. It consisted of kids about the same age as Luke at the time making films in the late 1970's on their portable Super 8 film cameras. Since watching that, Luke has always wanted to make films on his own and help bring other's stories to life and has never looked back.

As more time went by Luke would slowly upgrade his video creating and photo taking process. It started in 2009 with little camcorders when he first ever got a taste of videography, to using the Super 8 app on his iPod touch which made it very easy to film and slice videos together. There was truly no other app like it at the time. Then as the years went by, he transitioned to other editing softwares like iMovie on his iPad, then Pinnacle Studio Pro, then onto desktop with Adobe Premier Pro CC & Davinci Resolve which he currently uses for all of his projects today. To this day he has made numerous highlights, award winning music videos, short films submitted to film festivals and a full length film that he made at age 16.
